I can't believe there is not a discussion page on Dr. Robin Cook.
After reading his new book "Toxin" I couldn't eat meat for a year.
One of my favorite authors. I particularly like the continuation of the characters from Contagion into Chromosone Six and hope he has more in store for us featuring these characters.
Has any body read the SHOCK by robin cook? I found one loose point or may be I missed something in reading.
Joanna And Deborah, the main characters worked in the daytime in Wingate Clinic and they had their cell phones with them. They don't go their home, and went back in the night to Wingate Clinic to find out more information. Interestingly they did not have the cell phones at that time. How come? This is the first Robin Cook book I read? But I was astonished to find that part missing. I mean, in the wingate clinic, they were looking for the phone to contact authorities, and phone network was off. But they could have called via cell-phone as the author did not mention if they lost it somewhere else.
Did I miss some thing while reading? Or did you guys also notice this point? Apart from this point, the book was fabulous. I did not like the ending as the events were too sudden.
What would be the next book of robin cook for me to read?
I just finished reading "brain" and now i have to write a book report but i cant seem to remember the order of all the events and i dont want to have to read the whole book all over again. can someone plz help me!!!?????
Toxin
What can i say. That was my first Robin Cook book, and i have not stopped since. I am currently reading "Seizure" it is too good.
When i read Toxin, i had everyone staying away from fast food and meat in general, all cows were not to be trusted at first glance.
When i read shock....i was totally shocked! When i read Mortal Fear, i was in awe....., Spinx had me alittle puzzled though, Contagion is however one of my favorites.
Keep it up Mr. Cook
