Leo Waterman is his name. This is a great series. If you like Spenser or Elvis Cole, G. M. Ford is great reading. His characters are well drawn and you get a good sense of location as well. Lots of action and humor - never boring or cliche'

Another great series set in Washington State. The main character is a PI (can't think
of his name). He uses street people as operatives as they blend in so well. Fun
books.
I've been reading Ford for a year or so. As a transplanted Washingtonian, I really enjoy the setting, accuracy, mood, of Mr. Ford's Puget Sound descriptions. The stories are fun and complex, and I wish Leo Waterman was a friend of mine!
Somebody please read John D. MacDonald's Cinnamon Skin (Travis McGee novel) and then read G.M. Ford's Cast in Stone and draw your own conclusions about similarity.
I would like to know if G. M. Ford has a web site.
Stephanie, I have an email address
G.M. (Jerry) Ford
and there is author information available at
