After I read one book written by Michael McGarrity I knew I had to read all of his books. The fact that I had lived in New Mexico for 7 years and traveled around the entire state only added to the need to read. He takes a different section of the state as the background for each book and I always find it more interesting when you have visited in person the places you read about.
