Everyone has a photographic memory. Some, like me, just don't have any film.
Long time since someone posted in here...
I've just bought Kathy Reichs latest book " Break No Bones" Haven't even turned the page on it jet.
Must say that it's one of the few occassions that I've paid full price for a book (I usually wait till they hit the secondhand shops)
This for me, means that I'm looking forward to the read. I really enjoyed CrossBones. And while Tempe Brennan may have at times a strained relationship with her sister, I don't find her to be as "Full on" and paranoid as Kay Scarpetta.
Anyway, just thought I would drop in and "speak" LOL!

I just bought my first Kathy Reichs - a hardcover I picked up for a buck - Bare Bones. I haven't started it yet.

Absolutely loved "Break No Bones" - Have to say that Kathy Reich's is now traveling around myplace of work, while some are reading Patricia Cornwell, others are on the full series from Kathy Reichs and others are on the Karin Slaughter series...maybe it says that we are all into grizzly books, I don't know, maybe it just says that we are all into a thumping good read.

Not really thrilled with Bare Bones so far, but won't give up on her. I'd like to read at least one more by her before making a decision. I have to say it is quick reading though.

Don't give up on her Fran. Another at work as being converted. The books are going back to work for another round of reading.
The first book I read of Kathy Reichs was Death Du Jour, even though Im not an intense reader, this book just had me hooked on!, I was up all night reading it, and now im reading Deadly Decisions, which is also a great book!

Reichs is growing on me! I don't really care for the TV show though. I don't picture Tempe as she is portrayed in the show.

Oddly enough... me either Fran. She seems to be much too young.
I ove her books, and her show too!
Kathy just has a way to keep the reader hooked on the book. I have never considered myself as someone that loved to read until I found her books, now the first thing I do when entering a mall is to go directly to the book store.
The character from the sow is very physically diffrent from the Tempeon the book, but its kind of like the same concept. It's still great because I get to fall in love with two characters, the onein the book and the one on TV.

Read "Bones to Ashes" excellent writing, with believable characters. She has I have to say improved with her dry wit and made me grin at times while reading. Highly recommend this.
