Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist John Camp uses the pseudonym John Sandford for his bestselling suspense-filled Prey series.

StarTribune.com has produced a thought-provoking video that illustrates the upcoming John Sandford mystery thriller, “Wicked Prey,” due out in a couple of weeks. In the video, Sandford takes readers on a tour of St. Paul and the many crime locations in the book. We think your site’s readers will enjoy the rare glimpse from this top mystery writer.

Warning - Dates in calendar are closer than they appear!

MJ, I have read all of the Prey books and liked them all. I did not read them in order and it didn't cause a problem for me. Sorry, I can't put them in order for you. I am also a Patterson fan and see the similarities between the two.

itoo love the "prey" books by john sanford. has anyone read the night crew published in 1997. it was a good book but i enjoy the "prey" books more. you get the feeling from the "prey" books that the author is writing what he rally knows.

I have read all of JS's books...my favorite are the "Prey" books. I can not wait for "Easy Prey" to become available. JS could not write them fast enough for me! I am reading Ridley Pearson books to hold me until "Easy Prey" is available. I have to say that Ridley Pearson is fantastic too. If you like Davenport/Cross you will also like Lou Boldt! He also has a co-character Daphne Matthews who is wonderful too. These books like Sandford's are hard to put down once you start.......they also send tingles down your spine from fear!

I am a newcomer to Mysterynet and a huge fan of the Prey series. I have read all of the series published as of this date. I started with Naked Prey, then went back and started at the beginning of the series and read my way through. I am eagerly awaiting Broken Prey, his latest in the series.

My three special angels.....

I did the same thing, read one of his later books and enjoyed it so much, went back to the beginning and am now slowly working my way through. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Welcome Carol. Glad to see another new message on this site. How many of the series have you read so far?

I am soooo addicted to all of John Sandford's fiction. I have read all of the Prey Series and the "Kidd" books. Some Prey stories I like a bit better than others, but when it comes right down to it--IT'S ALL GOOD!!! Seven more days for "Phantom Prey." That will be my flake out and curl up in bed day.

John Sandford is one of my many favorite crime, mystery and thriller authors of fiction. I love his Prey novels. I've read quite a few. I have to say my favorites so far are: Mind Prey, Night Prey, Easy Prey and Chosen Prey.
