Could you tell me in short what it's about.
I'm reading all her books in Dutch so the problem is I do not know whether I have already read the book or not.

I don't think you'd have read this one yet-- it just came out in the States. I'm not that far along, but without giving too much away, there's a Philadelphia attorney named Bennie who gets called in by an imprisoned woman to be her lawyer. When she goes to the jail to meet this future client, the client tells her she's actually her long-lost twin sister. Very gripping.
Thanks, Bogie
can't wait to read it.

I haven't read Mistaken Identiy yet. I have read Final Appeal and Everywhere Thet Mary Went and found both very entertaining. I have shared then with coworkers. I look forward to reading other Scottoline books.
I see her new book "Moment of Truth" is in the top 100 of the USA TODAY magazine.
A lawyer returns home to find his wife dead. He thiks his daughter did it. Read it!

If you liked, "Mistaken Identity," I can highly recommend reading, "Company Confidential," by Tom McCrory. This graphic, hard-boiled novel of suspense was awarded the 2000 Gold Medal award for best Mystery/Thriller by the Southern Writers Guild.
The Vendetta Defense is out Feb. 27.

A stranger is a friend you have yet to meet
Finished "Moment of truth" today. It was the first I've read by Lisa Scottoline. I picked it up at the airport after having missed a flight and finding myself with almost two hours to kill. I didn't have a lot to choose from and I admit the label "the female John Grisham" made me a bit reluctant, but I bought it anyway. And I have to say I'm glad I did. If you want entertainment, suspense and lots of twists and turns this is a great book. I did find some of the twists a bit predictable and some of the characters are a bit sketchy. But I really liked that the law enforcement representatives were good guys, some of them very good guys. It was refreshing since so many crime related books these days involve corrupt policemen, district attorneys and/or judges.
All in all I'd recommend Lisa Scottoline (if all her books are in this style) as a good vacation read, you know the kind you read on the beach until you fall asleep and so on. You don't really need to keep track of a complicated plot or look for hidden clues but it's still well written enough for you to keep reading.

Short and unpronouncable ... and proud of it!!!
I've read Moment of truth and have to say I agree with everything Katarina says. It's a fun book to read if you want to relax.
