I'm still wondering what's the difference between a thriller and a suspense story. Probably none. I remember some war stories that I could hardly put down, and a survivalist tale entitled "No Blade of Grass", by an author whose name I've forgotten which I read in 1975. It was set in England in the present just after a new blight kills off the world's grass plants, including our grains. Civilization breaks down. A group moves from London up north to a mountain stronghold which the ancient Romans had known could enable a small band to hold off a much larger attacking force. Along the way, they have to fight off gangs of rogues including small units from the former armed forces. I found it interesting. Does anyone know the author's name?
Is it: John Christopher?
Haven't read it in ages. Must try it again. :o)
You must be right, Fred. ABE has a list entry -

Advanced Book Exchange, Fred.
It's a bunch of second hand bookshops in the UK, USA and Australia, that share an online database; good for picking up old and out of print books

Hi, I just finished reading James Patterson's "First To Die" for a book club that I am in. I am hosting the discussion portion of the book and would like to find some questions specific to mystery/suspense/thriller books. Does anyone know where I can find discussion questions of this type? I would apprecaite any help. Thank you!
