My favorite in this category is Aaron Elkins Gideon Oliver, the forensic anthropologist. He likes his corpses "dry", but comes up with some amazing deductions. Elkins' style also suits me - he has a very dry wit. Who else would come up with the "Law of Interconnected Monkey Business"?

I'd never heard of a "body farm" until I read Patricia Cornwell. Her earlier books are better, in my opinion. I am also hearing about Keith Ablow and intend to check him out as my next new author.
