Read "Crime Doesn't Pay" by Lynette Kiely
OK, Alan, time to think like a criminal...

What did you think of the mystery?
Would you have seen a different story in the photograph?

You can check out anytime you like...but you can never leave!

No big surprises in this one, but it fit nicely with the picture and the word limit.

I hadn't guessed Bo's family wasn't police, so the twist at the end got me.

Every dog has it day. The other 364 belong to cats.

Nice use of the picture and nicely written. Makes me wish we still had new Flash pictures now and then.

Every day, do one thing that scares you.

Me, too. One of my "Flash" stories was published once and I hope it shows up again sometime.

I actually was surprised by this one. Nice twist.

...if the book seems dull...just keep reading and turning pages...

I'm with Joy...didn't guess Bo's family was mob not police. Good story.

Chris, I hope it shows up too, I'd just love to comment. lol

I once wrote one but while I was musing on its worthiness, I missed the submission deadline. Oh well. :)

I don't remember the story, but do remember that you wrote one, Chris. I'd love to see it run again too.

Thanks, ladies! It was yeeeeeears ago, but I admit, it would still give me a cheap thrill!
