I just purchased today Book 12 from the new series and I am shocked to see that Helen Corning is mentioned!!! YAY!!!! So far in the book, only read 38 pages on the train, Mr. Corning is the Librarian in River Heights, and she with Mr. Corning are divorced. Mr. Corning is living in California, and Helen has gone to live with her father, as she want to pursue a career in acting! Will give more details when I have completed the book.

I think this is the best one yet! It has shades of "The Secret of the Old Clock"! And like Nanfile said it mentions Helen Corning!

I loved this book! Just by the title I could tell that it had to do with the 75th anniversery of Nancy Drew!

I also enjoyed it!! one of their best!!!

So, Helen is no longer married? Or was she married at all? What happened to the Corning fortune? They were pretty well off in the other books.

Got no clue GH, all I know is that Helen is in CA, and she comes in the end of the book. But her Mom moves to CA with her, so do not know if the Cornings are returning back to another book.

I don't think Helen been married. I think she is Nancy age now. She lives with her dad.

Jim Archer is the name of Helen Corning's husband and it was surprising in the game Secret of the Old Clock that you get to see Jim Archer's face.

Yeah, but that wasn't HELEN'S Jim! it was just an "in-joke" for the fans.
