This book is a must read! Do the names Ed, Harriet, and Milderd mean anything to you? Yes, Ed could be short for Edward. Harriet and Edna were the children of Edward Stratmeyer who was the founder of the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy books, along with many other series. Harriet Stratmeyer Adams took over the writting of the books from Mildred Wirt Benson. Mildred was the first author of the Nancy Drew books in the 1930's. Wicked! I just bought this book yesterday going to read it today if I can. This book was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I own this book, if anyone wants to trade, you know were to go... I really like this book. It's one of the first Girl Detective books I've read sofar.
