I don't have my Carolyn Hart books handy to the computer or I could tell you the order. I reccomend looking inside the front cover and finding the book probably listed on the bottom. I believe it starts with "Death on Demand", and moves onward. I know that they should be a new hardcover coming out very soon unless it is already out. And the Henry O' series is simply fabulous; I will admit I was not a fan at first, but NOW I am hooked. I wish she could write as fast as I can read. =)
For all who want to know what order to read the series', pick up "Detecting Women Pocket Guide 3rd edition" by Heisling. Lists all authors, main character and series order. Even has spaces for "have it" and "read it" checkmarks!
I love Carolyn Hart's books featuring Annie and Max Darling. I have them all but Deadly Valentine and Yankee Doodle Dead. I think Design for Murder is next then Something Wicked (?)
The Carolyn G. Hart books are in this order: Death on Demand, Design For Murder, Something Wicked, Honeymoon With Murder, A Little Class On Murder, Deadly Valentine, The Christie Caper, Southern Ghost, Mint Julep Murder, Yankee Doodle Dead and there's another new one that I can't remember the name of.
I just wanted to add that I like Laurel, but of course to understand her you have to be of a similar mind set. I guess that means I'm on the fey side. Henny and her one upmanship is what drives me nuts. I just love all the Death on Demand books.
I simply adore Annie and Max! I would love to find that book store, too! Did you know that Carolyn Hart has a web site? www.CarolynHart.com.
Her New book is due out this fall. I don't remember the name of it, but Carolyn mentions it on her web site!
Thanks for the web site. I like the setting and I'll try her books.
Lady Peg,
Thanks for mentioning Hart's website. Do you know, whenever I would do a search for anything related to "Carolyn Hart", no matter what search engine, I always came up with everything EXCEPT her official website. I can't figure it out. I've got it bookmarked now, of course, but it's so strange how I couldn't find it at all until I saw you mention it. Thanks again! By the way, I was perusing Amazon.com the other day for C. Hart books and one came up called "Sugar Plum Dead". It's not out yet. She doesn't mention it at all on the website; the latest is White Elephant Dead. I sent an e-mail to her to ask her about "Sugar Plum Dead", curious about what it was since no one has ever mentioned that she had another one coming out so soon (not that I mind - I can't get enough of the books!). I've recently ordered a couple of them on tape, to listen to while walking on the treadmill in the morning. It doesn't matter that I've almost read them all already - I never get tired of them!
Just Finished White Elephant Dead, It was great. I have only to read The Christie Caper and Design for Murder, and I've finished the series. I must say, so far, Something Wicked is my favorite. Is there 11 or 12 in the Death on Demand series?
I agree with everyone--I just can't get enough of this series!!! I was almost afraid to read Yankee Doodle Dead because I was afraid it would not hold up to her other books, but it is my second favorite..My very favorite is the Christie Caper!!
I'M NEW TO THE DISCUSSTIONS BUT I LOVE THE ANNIE AND MAX DARLING.PROBABLY BECAUSE THIS WOULD BE MY DREAM JOB. OWNING A MYSTERY BOOK STORE. WHAT COULD BE BETTER! AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE FIVE PAINTINGS IS THE BEST.
Has anyone read Sugar Plum Dead?
