I have read quite a few of MD Lake's books. One of my favorites is AMENDS FOR MURDER. I think this was one of the first books.

I've read all the books in the series and I think she needs to rethink her main character==doesn't seem to be going anywhere--just doodling along in life. The plots are better than average, but a little draggy.

So, considering that nearly everything he has written is now listed on Amazon.com as Out Of Print, is M.D. Lake (Allen Simpson) still writing? It's been a while since we've seen anything from him... this is not a good sign!
