Edna Buchanan writes great, fast-paced novels and the Miami settings are fascinating. I haven't read the non Montero-series stuff, but I'd love to hear other people's opinions on them.
Stewart Freeman, gotham@bway.net. 212-725-9818, in New York City. At the heart of her work is anguish at the human condition, and this comes through powerfully to me. I would like to E mail her directly If I may have an address Thanks.
As I read the ending of Pulse I realized I had seen that part of it as a movie, probably a TV movie. When was it on, and who played the lead characters?
I've been searching high and low for a book by Edna Buchanan (her first, I think). The problem is that it is no longer on any list of books authored by her and I cannot find it in any bookstore or on-line bookseller.
No, I'm not crazy. I have actually read this book - it was lent to me by a friend of hers who I worked with a few years ago. It is a true account of a Florida serial killer.
If any of you have any information on where I can find a copy of this book, please e-mail me at: jcm@jcmartinez.com
I would greatly appreciate it!
The book is titled:
Carr: 5 Years of Rape and Murder
