Carol Thurston's novel, The Eye of Horus features medical illustrator Kate McKinnon and radiologist Max Cavanaugh. Thurston has a Ph.D. in communications, has taught
journalism, and has served as a political speechwriter. As a
journalist, she has traveled widely from France, Germany, and
the Netherlands to Morocco, writing about science as well as
political issues. Thurston lives in Austin, Texas, and is currently
