I just wanted to tell Jonathan Kellerman that the "Conspiracy Club" was just about the best book I have read in a long time. For personal reasons I don't think anyone is interested in, it also gave me a spiritual "hit" I wasn't expecting but will leave its mark on me. I also enjoy the regular series, but this book pushed a "button" I will remember for a very long time.

The only thing I don't like about The Conspiracy Club,is that Jonanthan Kellerman places the story in a fictional city.As someone from Los Angeles,I've always enjoyed the fact he used real locations in LA in his previous books.

Can someone help me find out the author's name of some books I read several years ago? The main charater was an American Indian woman who helped victims disappear? She was a member of one of the Northeast tribes (New York state?. She would sometimes solve mysteries as a part of the story line. I'm remembering that her name was Jane Whitefeather or something like that. I've searched the internet to no avail.

Thanks.

Margaret, I believe the author you are looking for is Thomas Perry. The character's name is Jane Whitfield. She appears in Vanishing Act, Dance for the Dead, Shadow Woman, The Face Changers, Sleeping Dogs and Blood Money.

We also have an author discussion for Thomas Perry:

Yes! I am the old lol Bella Wanella had a stroke and lost my password soooo ...

I am currently reading a thrilling book by an actor I bet you know, Eric LaSalle from the TV show ER, if you weren't too busy looking at George Clooney to notice him, but he was and is a terrific actor but he is for sure an amazingly gifted writer. My blood is chilled and my spine 'isa' tingling and I got my cocoa and cookies and my quilt and my lap puppy so I am ready to finish reading this scary thang this weekend and I'll let ya'll know if it finishes with the "OMG" that it started with!!
