Teaser Announcements

Various things come up from time to time that pertain only to Teasers but that I would like people to know about. If I am in need of an emergency Teaser Master, for example, this is the discussion I would use to find one. You can also post your own announcements in here that pertain only to the Teaser section. Other announcements would still be posted in the Social Lounge > Information Area > Announcements.

Hi Guys,

With Sunnybrook's help, we are currently starting to re-run some of the more popular teasers. I will try to post one recycled teaser a week. Sunny is keeping a record of those interested in hosting and will send me the name of the TM along with the teaser to be redone.

We are currently running The Running Man, hosted by Lady Godiva. Please stop by try your hand at it and please remember to visit Classic Teasers Revisited.

Hi All!

Mimi will be away until Monday, Nov 6, so questioning is suspended on her teaser, "Hypothermia" until then.

Hi All,

Just a note to let you know that Chi and Sunnybrook will be helping out in Teasers for a while. Please contact one or the other if a problem should arise. Thanks!

Chi- if I am out of line with my post in Dead Man Walking please let me know. When he re-posted, it really ticked me off!!!!

P. Reiter - 06:12pm Nov 14, 2000 PST(#6 of 1060)

My sincerest apologies about the Dead Man Walking. This is my first interactive endeavor. It won't happen again. Although I realize that an excuse can't un-do my error, I want you to know that I'd re-posted because my cable modem has been flakey today and (a) I wasn't sure that my first message had gotten through and (b) I didn't see the Teaser Master's message about sending e-mails with guesses. Please forgive me.

P.Reiter-
Forgiven-by me, at least. Didn't mean to come down so hard on you, but it's an ongoing problem. I think at least three teasers in the last week had that happen.

Any new person could have made that mistake. We are just a little frustrated in Teasers when people seem to ignore instructions. I hope you will continue along and enjoy the teasers.

they can destroy our bodies and our ponchos, but they can never silence our song of protest! **singing** uptown girl, she's been living in her white-bread world ...

dawn~
Thanks! Looks like Sunny nabbed all the posts that needed nabbing this morning ;o)

P Reiter ~
Ditto what Fran said ;o) And thanks so much for caring enough to fill us in on what happened from your perspective. I hope you'll stick around and do some exploring... the way you were able to read between the lines makes me think you'll really enjoy several of the Teaser areas :o)

re all those riddles and logic puzzles being closed out: When I got here I subscribed to a whole section of puzzles, etc., as well as the teasers, and social lounge. I updated as suggested. So all the puzzles not visited by someone else first (allowing me to sub there) I have never seen!! In the future, a single post might revive a slow puzzle, by drawing in new members. As for myself, the more presented to me, the more I like it!

Some of those puzzles have been up forever though and it is time to "clean house" a little.
