Not sure where to put this post but this seems as good a place as any.
I came across a really cool idea in an article about metagames by Richard Garfield the other day. It seems that at MIT they have a weekend where they hide a coin somewhere on campus and the students try to find it. OK so we're talking big campus, small coin - so how do they find it?
Well they produce a large number of puzzles (150+) with no one puzzle type dominant or to important and the solutions to these puzzles either give clues to the location of the coin OR gives clues to the solutions of other puzzles. In some cases the solution to one puzzle were the instructions for another puzzle. etc.
Has anyone had any experience of this? Or any ideas of how this could be run (either in real life or in cyberspace)?

Puzzles-Anyone interested in swapping puzzles? I have every "clue" puzzle released so far but only a couple of the Be-Puzzled (I really enjoy them too!) Also the old Columbo and Muder She Wrote puzzles!
A while ago someone was looking for "Games" magazines. I have every issue since inception, there was two stoppages when it folded after it went to monthly, and it was bought but they had the wrong staff, it was bought again and it is back to what it was in the beginning! Their published by Be-Puzzled! They also have quite a few of their giant books of games available at bookstores in all different formats. I would love one of just all eyeball benders!!

"I wonder if it will be friends with me?"
Go to "TheCase.com" and go to the "Teasers By Members" discussion. There are several categories of puzzles there too.

A couple of years ago a cd-rom of 40 of the world's most famous mazes was on the market. I don't know the company that distributes it and I haven't seen it around lately. Does anyone know where this puzzle can be found?
I am new to mystery puzzles. Can anyone
suggest a fun and exciting one?

The fourth wall has shattered...the smell of Black Death coffee lingers...the Gamemaster is BACK!
I have a puzzle for you all...
Have any of you read the Clue Armchair Detective book? It's a series of picture mysteries where all the clues you need to solve the mystery are in the picture, you just have to know where to look. The final mystery has all of our favorite 6 suspects fleeing after Sir Humphrey Black's death. The mystery of his death is never solved though, you last job is to figure out where all the suspects fled to...
HOWEVER, if you read all the mysteries in the book, you would realize that one of the 6 tipped his/her hand and revealed him/herself as the murderer! Any of you who read them, do you know who I am referring to?
I'm interested in Southern based mysteries, especially New Orleans, and don't know anything about the puzzles mentioned here. Very interested, though!!
Does anyone know if there are any Nancy Drew puzzles? I'm a big fan of her.
ATTENTION all who love mystery games and puzzles.
I found a website today called areyougame.com that sells all kinds of puzzles and games and has an entire section devoted to mystery products including mystery puzzles, board games (such as 30-sec mysteries, MindTrap II, and 221 B Baker Street), and Murder a la Carte and mystery dinner sets (even one that includes a CD-rom that allows you to customize your party!).
I hope you all check it out, it may just be the place to find those products that you can't buy in your area!
