O.k., let's share sources of information on where we find out which authors have new books coming out and when? I'll try to get together some of the links I've used. I'll be looking forward to hearing about your sources.

If you want to see new releases, check out Publisher's Weekly. Most libraries have it. It's an industry trade magazine that reviews most of the best of the latest. A good way to get insider buz

Judy,

O is for Outlaw is due out this fall. I enjoy her series a lot. Who else do you read?

Nancy Brooks - 01:25pm Apr 7, 1999 PST(#9 of 24)

The sequal to Silence of the Lambs will be at the bookstores in June! Now that was one great book (and movie too!) It took the author almost 10 years to write but promises this sequal to be just as good as the original.

Another GREAT site for forth coming titles is www. Bookbrowser.forthcoming titles. Every genre is covered and all listed by months. Usually 3 or 4 months in advance. Some have short summaries of the books contents.

Has anyone been reading the Lilian Jackson Braun Book? Great detection by Qwilleran and Koko the cat.

Bestselling author Joe Weber has a new techno-thriller coming in December -- "Primary Target."

Jane,

I've read all of the "Cat Who" books. The newest one is out, but can't recall the title (haven't read it yet). Do you feel that the latest ones are as good as the first few? I think that the last few have lost something - maybe it's time that Qwill gets married!

Hello everyone! My name is Ron Frantz. I am about to publish a new book entitled FANDOM: Confidential. More or less, it is about the history of fandom and organized nostaliga collecting. I think some mystery fans may find the book intersting as it features a cover by Peter Morisi depicting a Sherlock Holmes theme. The introduction is by noted pulp magazine historian, Robert Sampson. I am sure some mystery readers will remember Sampson as the winner of the 1986 "Edgar" for his short story, "Rain in Pinton County."

I like to read cozy mysteries. Any real new ones lately ?

lilM - 04:40pm May 24, 2000 PST(#18 of 24)

Denise, I just read The Body on the Beach by Simon Brett. The main character is a divorced, retired woman who pairs up with her free-spirited neighbor to solve a murder. It's a modern-day cozy, not terribly deep, and funny in parts. I'd recommend it for a rainy afternoon.

Greetings! I thought it might be appropriate to announce that my new book FANDOM: Confidential is now in print. At the time of this writing, I have sold about 1/3 of the 750 print run. So far, the reviews have been positive. For anyone who might be interested...please check out my web site at:
