~It is better to be hated for who you are, than liked for who you are not~

I don't think it's a good idea for another folder just for that purpose.

I don't see a problem with someone telling another to check their mail if it's included at the bottom or top of another conversation-relevant post. I think what you're all referring to is just posts that announce mail... correct? Yes, that could be highly annoying. lol

Ah... never mind.

*shutting up... this message will self-destruct very soon*

You can check out anytime you like...but you can never leave!

Dave, just so you know, I am not talking about MP's. There is a need for email messages there. I am talking about elsewhere on the site.

I will make an announcement in the announcement discussion asking that people refrain from doing this. Thanks all for your input.

"Crouched upon a rock or tree...It eats either you or me...It needs neither knife nor bowl...Drinks your blood out of your skull." ~Heather Alexander

Welcome ^.^ and while the folder idea wasn't such a good idea at least it got people to talk about it and voice their opinion right?

Could that include the some of the hello/goodbyes that are in other than chat folders? I've seen the same people say bye in 3 or 4 folders.

I don't think that's quite the same because not everyone goes to all the same folders, but that's just my opinion

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. - Charles Schultz

LOL knew the hi/byes would get mentioned next.

I don't see that as being the same either. Some people are not in the same areas where people are saying goodbye. And, we're known here for giving people warm welcomes! LOL!

Forget about it. It's just me.

And no, I wasn't referring to the MP.

I would delete my message... but as Confucious once said, "Making site Community Leader look bad is asking for trouble."
