Max, what's so hard about that?

What do I look like, an answering machine?

kirsten b - 07:44am Jan 30, 2004 PST(#274 of 15953)

My kids alreay do that and they are only 7 and 9. I tell them to go make their own money.

Max, I'm getting a kick out of the fact that it's $40, and not $10, $20 or $50. Any particular reason for that dollar amount? Just a nice, 2-bill number?

Worlds worst excuse: "But we've always done it that way."

movie = $8
popcorn and coke = $6
wendy's #2 supersized with a side of nuggets ~= $6
gas for the car = $15

round up to the nearest $20 ... $40

SpaceCase - 08:00am Jan 30, 2004 PST(#277 of 15953)

Ah, yes, that makes sense - and is making me hungry for some Wendy's nuggets...

Oooohhh, the edit page is a very nice shade of gray now! Much better!

Sign in page is also the nice grey. Someone must have been listening. I can read it again.

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. - Charles Schultz

Also, when you vote in white, you can see what you typed against the gray background in the edit/preview screen. Very nice!

Looks more like what I remember from when I first joined MN.

I think animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Dallin, I spent 3 weeks in Utah, down in Richfield and I swear, visited every national park there. Whirlwind trip and was very impressed with the beauty of your state. My favourite parks were Zion and Bryce Canyon.

I'm used to the cold too - northern BC here - still I love the fire, the down quilt and beanbag chair in the Kitchen.

Especially on grey days like this, hope it doesn't snow as my mom has a chiropractic appt later today and I have to take her. I have to babysit the chiropractor's children while Mom has her initial visit.'ll be forever before she gets in. Gotta love small towns. :)

Max, cracked up laughing about the $40 and conversation.

Kirsten, it reminds me of how it was when I first came to MN too - grey background. Much nicer than that red/maroon.

Ok, back to that horrible four letter word starting with W....another cup of STRONG coffee and away I go. ;)
