I Confess

I Confess was a discussion we had in the early days of MysteyNet. I thought it would be fun to bring it back and see how it goes.

You can confess your truest feelings here or just everyday things.

We are here to listen, so confess away.

I Confess I am on a new crusade, LOL. When gas prices got so ridiculous, I vowed not to drive anywhere that I didn't absolutely have to. My small way of protesting. I just heard on the news that dropping prices on oil cannot be expected to show up for us in lower prices at the grocery store. They specifically mention cookies. The manufacturers feel that, if we are willing to pay the price, they are willing to charge it. So, no cookies for me. If I want cookies, I will bake them myself from scratch. Goodbye for a while Oreos!

In my humble opinion, it's always better to make things like cookies yourself Fran. :)

In fact, I should try and do it more often.

Eh, no. I confess I can't. However, I didn't think I was giving the indication that I could.

Oreos are icky. Home made chocolate chip are the best.

I confess I hate how expensive glasses are and am glad I prefer contacts.

I have not worn my glasses in ages! Even for driving! I guess my eyes have changed. I've always been nearsighted, but I guess as I get decrepit, I cannot see small things now and print that is too close! I have the glasses, they are bifocals but I just can't seem to adjust to them. It feels so unnatural to have to move your head when going from close objects to far objects. I find I see better driving without them. However, my license still says Must Wear Corrective Lenses, so I am in danger of getting caught if I get stopped. I wore contacts many years ago but they really bothered my eyes. Maybe I should give them a shot again now that they have bifocals for contacts. But I can't hear either, LOL!
