'And I have the sense to recognize that I don't know how to let you go.'

Just because....

To talk to others about nothing at all, and so we don't take up the teasers time and space. As some of you know, I enjoy talking about nothing and annoying people. If you also like to do that, this is just the place. Anything goes here, but remember, it's all in good fun and not meant to hurt others.

"Nothing matters in this whole wide world when you're in love with a Jersey Girl" - B. Springsteen

LOL!!

Sassi - I think I'm going to sign off soon. My computer is getting slower and slower. It's driving me nuts.

Procrastination is a virus

Gosh. What a discussion! I've tried bf's and other non professional, well-meaning mechanics and it seems I eventually have to slink back to my regular. My car is fixed! It puts out heat, they flushed the system and changed all bulbs in good time. I've been going to these honest mechanics for 30 yrs (sometimes in disguise and in the dead of night)and they are great. Even if their shop is full, I get in pretty close to the front. They're good ol' home boys who I know for a fact never treat a woman or man wrong, and have the much envied position of absolute professionals in all they do. Too bad they're all really, really married.

Hey, thats great. Most of the idiots around here are thiefs.

You've definately got good guys there Diana.

I think animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Why the dead of night and disguise? Hmmm...you a secret agent that we don't know about? **wink**

It's good to have mechanics you trust. I'm very particular and question anyone I don't know. I've nailed some real jerks hard. Even had free work done because of complaining to the top brass and when I picked up my car, the guy swore at me, called me every curse name in the book for "scheming ways to get free stuff."

Not only was he fired.....the shop was closed down...permanently.

It's just far easier if you find ones that you can trust. Good you have that Diana.

Sunny - I've used others before (bf or well-meaning), but their fixing never seemed to last, or made the problem worse. I slink in disguise (sort of) 'cause I don't want my well meaning friends to feel bad.

Sunnybrook - 02:04pm Feb 6, 2004 PST(#78 of 8481)
If all I wanted was attention, I'd be naked.

That was sassi, not sunny that made the comment... LOL

Oops. Sorry to Sassi! And no, I'm not a secret agent, although there are times that job sounded good.
