**Tips on Posting Stories**

Use this discussion to ask for help or give tips to others on posting stories written by community members. To post a new story, this is what to do:
1. Divide your story into 5000-*character* "parts" in your word processor. Number them. 2. Go to the right folder. "Stories by Community Members" should be the heading at the top of the page, in large type.
3. Click on the gray button "Add Discussion" at the bottom.
4. (A new screen appears) Type in a title (the title of the story and the author's name)
5. In the "Discussion Description" box, Type "Part 1 of X" (where X is the total number of parts that your story is divided into). Hit return twice.
6. Copy and Paste part 1 from the word processor into the "Discussion Description" box.
7. Click the Add Discussion button. 8. Now, post Part 2 as the first message in the discussion, as you would post a regular message. If you have problems with this procedure, it would help to know at what point in the list, what you had done previously, and what the problem is.

You can check out anytime you like...but you can never leave!

Tracy, if you are referring to the Agatha Christie story, there are tons of enthusiasts at our Agatha section who may be able to answer any questions.
