Just finished 'You've Been Warned' by Patterson. Could not put it down. I've been on a J.P. kick since reading 'The Quickie' (another great page-turner). Hope the suggestions help & you enjoy the books as much as i did!

Just finished reading "Past Reason Hated" By Peter Robinson.

Peter Robinson grew up in Yorkshire, but now lives in Canada. He is well known for his Inspector Banks series and these have recently been turned into a television series in the UK.

I have just finished Karen Rose, Have you Seen Her, Tess Gerritsen is really good but she doesnt write fast enough for me, James Patterson is also very Good Just bought his new one Kill Alex Cross, R.D Wingfield is always good for a quick Read he writes about Inspector Frost. I have so many favourite Mystery/Murder Authors

I love Patterson. Thanks for the tip, I didn't know he had a new one out. Is Karen Rose by Gerritsen?

I am reading a brand new author right now -Donald Thompson Charlie's Cruise. I'm really enjoying it so far and will be doing a book review on it shortly to say more about it.

Another good book to read is called "Destiny."

Looking for a thrill ride ... check out The God Complex by Chris Titus. This reminded me of the Da Vinci Code, except the adventure takes you on a thrill ride through Chinese medicine instead of Christianity. The author combined fact and fiction in a unique format "that has audiences talking" ... literally. From the reviews I've read, the book is controversial b/c one of the characters uses Eastern medicine to cause harm in order to prove a point. This 'apparently' goes against the first tenet of health care ... "do no harm." And, some acupuncturists freaked out about it - haha! Personally, I thought that was the best part of the story b/c he reveals a hidden connection between acupuncture and martial arts. One of the aspects I enjoyed most of this book was that it was inspired by actual events. Another thing I liked about this book is that I learned a lot about topics that are popular today, and I learned them by solving a mystery ... education through exciting entertainment. Two thumbs up for this one ...

I can recommend Tess Gerritsen - Karin Slaughter (I love the dynamics of Trent and Sara) Kathy Reiches, and also Val MacDermid - but confess I prefer the Kate Brannigan series in her books. If you like fast paced thrillers you could try Matthew Riley. I can't put his books down.

Also just recently read the first of the Charlaine Harris's Series Sookie Stackhouse - loads behind everyone else I'm sure.

Would like to find another author myself - I tend to stick to the same ones. Just wondering to myself is there someone out there thats part Karin Slaughter part Kathy Reiches and cloned of Tess Gerritsen? :o)
