Thanks to my big sis, Her Royal Highness MIMI, I am the First Sister :-), Party Planning Co-Chair and Princess of Friendship! Yeah! Now lets all have some fun. :-)

This is the best place to show all your friends at MN you care. Leave your Seasons Greetings. Whether its "Merry Christmas", "Happy Hanukkah", or "Happy Kawanzaa" enjoy the season and spread the joy. :-)

This is also the place to post birthday greetings, bouquets and thoughts of sympathy and condolence.

What was going through the minds of all of Chuck Norris' victims before they died? His shoe.

Hey, how is your new job?

There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly why the Universe is here, it will instantly vanish and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory stating that this has already occurrred.

Announcement:

A close friend of mine has had a rough time recovering from her recent decision to get too close to the blast radius of an RPG. She was a specialist deployed to Afghanistan back in 2002 and made it through two tours there before being evac-ed out due to "lacerations and contusions due to a rocket-propelled explosive." In the three-odd years since she was released from the hospital and medically discharged with full honors from the military, she has slipped downhill and recently began experimenting with self-medication (heroin, in this case).

I just received a phone call from her; she is in a rehabilitation and detox center in Bethesda, MD, after she turned herself in to the hospital in New Jersey where she lives. She sounded, for the first time in months, happy and positive in her outlook. This is without a doubt some of the best news I have ever heard.

Please put her continued recovery in your thoughts and prayers. Her name is Mary Hunt. Thanks.

Since the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body (and vice versa), we now know that only left-handed people are truly in their right minds.

((((Caer and friend)))) That self-medication can end up causing more problems than it solves.

kirsten b - 07:32pm Apr 4, 2008 PST(#7535 of 11135)

(((Caer)))

Happy Anniversary Fran and Bill!

Fran Hinkel - 03:01am Apr 5, 2008 PST(#7536 of 11135)
You can check out anytime you like...but you can never leave!

Thanks, (((((Kirs)))))

(((((Caer and friend))))), I hope they can help her and that this will be a turning point for her. She is in my prayers.

Hang in there, Mary, and know you have your countrymen's gratitude for your service. We want you to be well now that you are home. May God stretch His healing hand to you.
