ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO MY GRANDMOTHER BOUGHT MY BROTHER A BOARD GAME CALLED ''CLUEDO'' IT IS THE BRITISH EQUIVALENT OF ''CLUE'' (BECAUSE I USED TO LIVE IN N.IRELAND) MY GRANDMA BOUGHT IT FOR 30 POUNDS ($60) I THINK THAT IS A RIP-OFF. DON'T YOU?

Hi I'm new to this arena but very interested. I really love mysteries,my favorite is Sherlock Holmes. I would like to know all the mystery lovers out there...

This being my first message, I'll dispense with formalities. My experience with mystery games goes way back, as a matter of fact I'm working at creating a new game now, but I have never heard of Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective.(Obviously a sheltered childhood) Anyway, this sounds like a great game. Where can I get one? It was my understanding that there were other versions of 221B Baker Street? Something to do with time travel. Is this so? Those of you that have played the old version and this one, was it really an improvement, or just good marketing. Just a short meassage to one of our writers, Natalie Dushney. I believe I know the answer to your riddle, but would rather type the answer to you, if that would be okay with you. Well, type you all later...

I have two games--Trivial Detective and Stage II--that are trivia games but with clues/hints that you get along the way. Both are more than 10 years old, though, so I don't know if you can buy them now.

I've just posted a couple of biographical sites that should be of interest to thecase.com fans. Both authors have written mini-mysteries for thecase.com.

- Henry Slesar Tribute site: http://www.total.net/~ppoirier/SlesarTribute/

- Hy Conrad site: http://www.total.net/~ppoirier/HyConrad/

If you love mystery games you've got to check out Crack the Case! It's so awesome and addictive! My friend and I would play it at parties and sleep overs. I have mindtrap and 30 min. mini mysteries too, for those who really wants and fun group type mystery game, you really got to check out Crack the Case. That's all. Tell me how you like it.

I am so glad I just found this Web Site. I could stay on all day answering your questions and asking my own on games! I have been collecting mystery games for 40 years and still have them all in excellant condition! Oldies to remember-Lie Detector, Electronic Detective, Cluedo, Perry Mason,Clue Master, Vanished, Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, 221B Baker Street (board version) 221B Baker Street (VCR version). Fairly Recent-GOOD NEWS for all of up Mindtrap lovers, Mindtrap II is now available! You must hurry though because there is not a big run of product produced so they are gone fast and you won't see it again! They have it in the mall store "World of Knowledge" if you have one near you! This is one of the best mystery games of all time! Crack the Case is an excellant game also but they have never made a Crack the CaseII so I just have the original which we finished right away. Write letters, when we find a game we love I always write and tell how wonderful in the hopes others are also and that might help get a 2nd edition out! Let's do a massive write in for Crack the Case! I'd be great! I'd love to hear from others about their games! We do a lot of our games in the car. My teenagers love being occupied and we all love the mystery games and we have been doing this for 18 years! You can also always do any of your Trivial Pursuit editions in the car!!! Unfortunatly someone has to be the one to read the card. We have to flip for this because everyone would rather answer! Contact me at flavins@bellatlantic.net or right here! Now that I found it I will be here everyday!

I think Clue is the only mystery board game I have and I think it is so cool, but I might get bored of it!

Do you know of any mystery board/computer game I could buy?

Melissa Beebe - 02:42pm May 4, 1999 PST(#32 of 62)

Does anyone know where I could find "Clue"? Please E-mail me at melissabeebe@home.com. Thanks!!!
