Phoenix, AZ is hosting a Children's
Writer's Workshop in mid-June. We are
looking for published authors in the
immediate area who are interested in
participating. Please contact us if you
are interested. We believe the Mystery
genre would be an exciting way for our

writing. Email cbuffy@myway.com if
interested. Thanks!
Does anyone know of a mystery book discussion group that meets in New York (Manhattan)?
A Writer's Group has formed at the Morris County Library, Whippany, NJ. Our next meeting is June 22, 2006. While the group is open to writers of every genre, there are several mystery writers in the group.
The Muses of Bardic Web invite all writers to participate in our Short Story Contest. We have some amazing prizes on offer by our sponsors, including free books and the publication of the top three entries on Realms of Fantasy's website. Even if you've not written a short story before why not give our contest a go. This could be your big chance to see your work reach a wider audience.
Guidelines: All entries must contain elements of both mystery and fantasy. They must also make use of the two props listed below. This can be either as a major element of the story or a brief passing mention, but both need to be appear at least once during the course of the tale.
Props:
1. Diana, a pale and mysterious woman
2. A goblet
Word Limit: Please keep entries between 2500 and 3000 words and keep in mind that spelling and grammar count. Flaws in a work of art are horribly distracting and will cost you votes.
Ratings: The content should fall within a PG-13 or R rating. NC-17 tales will not be permitted as the final work will be publicly posted.
Submissions: All submissions should be sent to polyhymnia@bardicweb.com . These must be received before Friday 22nd September 2006. Any submissions received after that will not be considered; no exceptions whatsoever will be made. Only one entry will be accepted per writer.
See HERE for more information.
Hello. I hope someone can help me. Does anyone know if there is a recording of Dashiell Hammett's voice?
