Try and keep it to one person, not directed to everyone, for instance, this is where you can ask someone their age ( and I am not telling )or you can ask Fran about something. If this is going to work, the chit chat should go to another folder.
The one the question is asked of can either answer, not answer or lie like a rug ( something I would never do ) *innocent look*
Common Questions:
For Bold: type <B> to end: type </B>
For Italic: type <I> to end: type </I>
For single space lines: type <BR> to end: type </BR>
For changing font size: type <font size=4> (or whatever number you chose) to end: type </font>
For font color type <font color=000066> (or you can just say blue, red, etc or another color code) to end: type </font>

Have you ever gone away for a few days and come back to find your house rearranged? Got that feeling here but, I like it! And no maroon here except that strip at the top so I know this is still the right house. :)

Me either - kind of a silver/gray on both sides - and the posting area is centered and a bit wider. Thumbs up!
Now its grey. Much better than the Maroon!

Yeah, I am happy. It is so much easier on my eyes - I didn't realize it until I saw the new page that my eyes were being strained by the maroon. It has a nice, clean look to it now.

I've just looked again and I have a bit of silver grey either side... which gets bigger if I lessen the firefox page size... but I like it big text LOL!

I complained about that, Kermit, and Fran pointed out that the time-out is editable: there's a 'minutes of inactivity before logout' or similar box near the bottom of the edit profile page.
I'm sure that it wasn't there before, but it seems to work.

Hmmmm, I don't think MN has ever given me a time out. It just locks me out on my home computer.

Thanks, Rik. What I'm talking about is getting a time-out message from my browser repeatedly when I click "check new messages" or try to post something. I have to hit refresh a few times to get it to connect again.

My real name is Ashley, I play Brass, I live in New Zealand. So you can just call me Ashley or Ash if you want.
Trouble is, the most you can set the time-out for is 99 minutes. It wil NOT accept more (I tried!).
The reason I like the silver sides?? - the page doesn't sem so dark any more.
