My favourite episodes are V for Vashon, singapore File and 90 second war, but just about any of the episodes were great except probably the last series. After danno had gone and Chin the previous year the team wasn't the same. Would like any episodes. Perhaps someone has the technology to show bits over air.

Am working on a project for publication "US Marines in film and TV." Can anybody please tell me if Hawaii Five-0 had any programs involving Marines?

My favorite was in the beginning of " Wednesday, Ladies Free" when the killer strangled his victim, picked her up, placed her on a table and began to mutilate her face. Sheer drama and creepiness

I really loved the show, but from what I understand, Jack Lord was one of the hardest people to work with in the industry.

6000 tickets was my favorite

The Wo Fat episodes were always my favorite. Some of the more weak shows seemed to be after 11th season when James MacArthur left. I think my favorite non Wo Fat episode was Ways of Love in season 1.

Jack Lord - 10:38am Aug 29, 2004 PST(#23 of 27)

Season One is being broadcast in Vancouver BC. Next show is 24 Karat Kill on Mon. Aug 30.

who wrote the theme music for hawaii 5 o?

Fran Hinkel - 06:47am Aug 17, 2005 PST(#25 of 27)
You can check out anytime you like...but you can never leave!

The main theme was played by studio musicians under the direction of Morton Stevens, who composed it. The Ventures made a popular recording of the main theme on Liberty Records.

Hello Debbe & all, For whatever it's worth, I'd heard the same talk about Lord being a bit of a prima donna. Not to speak ill of the dead, but, that's what I heard, too.

The Debbie and Chris,

You've heard those rumors of Jack being "difficult to work with" or being a "prima donna" but what does that mean, except these are things you heard. What are you proving by it?

What evidence do you have other than the idiotic things movie magazines were writing and what some jealous, insecure co-stars said. All these people did was label Jack, make assumptions about him, and make accusations, but did not prove a thing. Anybody can talk like that.

Being a prima donna means that a person is being selfish, making unreasonable demands, and insists on everything being done to suit himself or herself, with no thought to anyone else. What of these rumors you heard describes any such incidents?

Jack was the producer and co-owner of the show, so he had every right to be in charge. Part of his job included dealing with personnel issues, which meant hiring, firing, and everything in between. Many of the crew members were locals who had little to no experience in film and television and Jack had to train them. There were many who were irresponsible and didn't believe in working, and goofed off all the time, and Jack had to play the disciplinarian and put them in their place, often firing them, which he had every right to do. In any other industry, people who acted like those crew members did would be out of a job in an instant and no one would sympathize with them, but because these people work in television, their behavior is supposed to be overlooked and they have some permission to paint Jack as the wrongdoer and label him?

Many actors showed up on the set drunk, and again, Jack had to tell them off. They had six days to film an episode, and worked 14-16 hours a day. Things have to be done at a certain time and in a certain way. There is no time to waste. Jack was instilling a work ethic into these people, and many of the crew with whom he worked were grateful to him for it. There were some idiots who weren't and still trash him to this day, but they will be paying for it someday.
