was in a Hitchcock anthology. All I remember of the plot is a criminal had been captured and was sitting in the sheriff's office. The sheriff stepped out for a moment and returned to find the office empty. Finally he looked closely at a photo on his desk that had been taken decades earlier. The criminal had "escaped" to the distant past and posed with the others in the picture to show the sheriff what he had done. Anyone know the title of the short story?
