The last third of the debate was devoted exclusively to the Scott Lee Kimball (SLK) case. I think the single most newsworthy point in this debate was the revelation by Colorado Attorney General John Suthers that the SLK case has caused the whole of the FBI to change the way the FBI now works with confidential informants. I think it is saying a lot when one criminal can cause the FBI to change the way they do business.
