Speculative Fiction Review--Authors wanted

Speculative Fiction Review is a newly established e-Publisher. SFR is looking for authors of book length novels in the area of Science Fiction, Legal, Crime, Horror, Thrillers, Mystery, Adventure, Political, Topical, and Cross-Genre Fiction. We especially welcome new authors. SFR charges absolutely no fees. We also showcase our books with reviews and discussions.

We charge $5 for our books--you get $2, we get $3. After our expenses (transaction fees etc.), we make about $0.20/sale more on the book than you do--you get 40%.

The basic reasons an author would go with us is: a) They're new--unpublished--and on the slush pile, but have something they think is good. b) They have sold, but are not satisfied with their opportunities right now, i.e. they have a project that their publisher or agent is remiss to push because it doesn't fit the needs of whoever they're selling to. c) SFR is best suited for those who believe their interests would be better served by putting their book in front of readers, rather than spending years trying to convince formula publishers to move them off the slush pile. We will drive traffic to our site. We let readers write reviews and give you (the author) a stable, high quality platform to push a book you have confidence in. d) Being an author at SFR does not preclude a publishing deal with a large print publisher--it's good for us if you're the next Stephen King.

Being an author at SFR entails very little risk. There are NO fees. You take a lot of responsibility for your own work. You get exposure--we will work to sell your book since we make no money unless you sell. If your book happens to sell to a print publisher while on SFR, your encumbrance to SFR is minimal and negotiable.

Are you an author? If so, and if you have something consistent with what we're looking for, please send us a query. Go to the site and look at the submission guidelines.
