Hi all, new member here and I've just finished watching the movie version of "The Black Dahlia" and it's inspired me to maybe think about writing a novel based around a famous unsolved muder mystery.
I just want to put a question out there to what people think about doing novel's based on true crimes and which true murder mystery would be the best to try and do.
Agian this is just thinking out loud here.

It may help give you some ideas. I like unsolved cases, but think that the author really needs to do something akin to an investigation so that the "perpetrator" is actually a viable suspect. Of course, you could make everything fictional except the bare bones of the case - which you should be able to find at that website.
