SILVER SISTERS MYSTERIES
Morgan St. James - 10:44am Apr 8, 2010 PSTWrites mystery novels, short stories, column-Las Vegas Examiner (Books and Writing)As a great fan of mysteries and thrillers by many different authors, from the funny cozies to the heart pounding thrillers, I would love to know what readers really look forward to in funny mystery series.
That said, the mysteries I write with my sister Phyllice Bradner, SILVER SISTERS MYSTERIES, are 'i'comical crime capers'i' with backfires and twists. The first two are currently available in just about every format you can think of from paperback to electronic and Kindle to audio. I would love to have more feedback in the form of reviews on Amazon or comments here. The first in the series was A CORPSE IN THE SOUP, the second SEVEN DEADLY SAMOVARS (a samovar is a Russian tea dispenser) and the first draft for the third, VANISHING ACT IN VEGAS, is almost finished.
I won't take up a lot of room here telling you about these zany twins, as different asGoodwill and Gucci, and their 80 year old mother and uncle (former vaudeville magicians who insist upon "getting into the act").
There is lots of information on Amazon or on our website, www.silversistersmysteries.com.
As for tbooks I'm reading now or have read recently, right now I'm reading GONE TOMORROW by Lee Child and just finished THE LAST DETECTIVE BY Robert Crais. I recently met both of them at Left Coast Crime, so that makes them doubly enjoyable. I would recommend both.
