Boston Blacky

I can not find any info on the early T.V. detective show "BOSTON BLACKY" i.e. who was in the cast, what year and what network was it on? Any info would be appreciated.

To my knowledge, there were two well known "Boston Blackie" characters during the 40's & 50s. In Film serials, Chester Morris played the super sleauth in the late 40s and early 50s actor Kent Taylorplayed the Nash driving Detective. The co-stars names escapes me , but there was a Inspector Faraday & a girl friend. Nora.

On the '51 Boston Blackie tv series does anyone know the announcer, the actor at the newsstand and the type of convertible Blackie drove? His car I believe was not American.Possibly a Borgward.
