This is a fast moving read that the average mystery reader could finish in one rainy night in March. Jack the Ripper, the notorious serial killer from 1888 London, is back to his old trade. This time he's terrorizing the rundown streets of the Bowery, New York's worst Irish slum. Bug McMaster and the Irish Clowns, an area street gang, decide to solve the case when clues left behind by the Ripper seem to be pointing towards them.
"Bowery Ripper on the Loose" by Steven G. Farrell has just been released by World Audience Publishers of New York in January of 2011 and it costs $20. It's a fast moving story that pits Bugs McMaster and the Irish Clowns against the Murder Master himself, Jack the Ripper.
I"ve seen one reviewer link this to comedy, which really intrigued me. Going to look for this one.
