Any interest in a 20-questions style mystery party game like Crack The Code?

I'm thinking of creating a party game based on Crack The Code, which was discontinued by Milton Bradley. Maybe 1000 mini-mystery scenarios with one or two questions to solve, like 1) Who was the killer? and 2) Why was there a puddle beneath the chandelier? Only the gamekeeper would have the answers. To get to the solution, players would have to ask the gamekeeper yes/no questions or throw out theories to get more information.

The mysteries/solutions would be printed on individual cards, maybe a little larger than playing card size. The game would be completely portable, so it would be just as easy to play on a road trip as in your own living room at home.

I'm thinking 2-10 players, ages 12+.

I've never made a game before, just wondered if this was an idea that might be worth pursuing. Any questions/feedback would be appreciated.
