The MN Questionnaire

Idea by Stevie B

This Post-n-Go was inspired by the popular Radio 4 comedy "The Now Show". On the show was a slot called "The Audience Questionnaire". Prior to the show, they asked the audience what they would do in certain hypothetical instances. Try to pose your questions so people can give answers that are as broad as possible. Asking "Who is your favourite Beatle and why?" will not give people much scope for an answer. Where as: "If you were to form a rock band, what would you call yourselves, and who would be in it?" gives much more freedom to answer.

Example: "What would you do if there was only five minutes left before the world ended?"
Possible Answers:
"I would spend my time laughing at all the people who paid to be cryogenically frozen"
"I would cover myself in jam and try to get a frog to stick to me"
"I would try and get compensation"

After the composing round, the host will call for votes. Everyone can vote for the best Questionnaire. You may not vote for yourself. Please vote in white. On Monday, the host will announce the winner. In case of a tie, whoever reached the tie vote first is the winner. The winner of the voting round picks the question for the next week.

The game will be played thus:

Monday - New Questionnaire
Monday - Friday - Composing round.
Friday/Saturday- Voting round.
Sunday/Monday - Vote tally and winner announcement.

Note: Should the tally not be done by Monday 8:00 MN time, a P&G moderator will tally to assure smooth flow of this game. Should the 1st place winner not post a new topic by Noon Monday, 2nd place winner may then post a new topic.

Have fun!

For the most common problems, you might find an answer in the Post-n-Go FAQ. You can play other fun games in Regular Post-n-Go

A birth certificate shows you were born. A death certificate shows you have died. A photo album shows you have lived.

I know some one who had a flying reindeer in the hallway all year. I was attached to the ceiling and they couldn't get it down. :o)

:o)

Tree and decorations have all be taken down today. With exception of the wreath on the front door and holly at back. Tradition in our house to leave them to the last day. :o)

Got all down/put away on New Year's Eve...it was warm and calm so took advantage of the nice weather.

What was going through the minds of all of Chuck Norris' victims before they died? His shoe.

Mommy put all of our decorations away before I got out of bed this morning :(

I think I took our outside lights down on the coldest day of the year so far... I was outside for half a hour and needed defrosting...

To keep inline with the MN Questionaire.

Do you have a Christmas decoration that you put out every year - even though it's past its best.

If so, what is it, and have you packed it away carefully for next year?

I have a couple, an angel whose wings are a little folded and she is back in her tube and packed away. Also, bought a carousel years ago that has a light or two not working, but it still plays Christmas music and packed it snuggly away. Used to have some elves that were on a garland and couldn't locate them this year...think they ran away.

Have a red reindeer, we call him rudolf - sort of covered with felt - which has been around since I was a child. Some of the felt is now missing. We turn his best side out. :o)

Remnants of a set of baubles that are rounded on one side and go in on the other [hard to explain :o)]

A red plastic bell that my brother got out of a cracker and a brass bell that rings. We put it at the bottom of the tree so it gets caught... every time a bell rings ;o)

We also have some plastic holly. That goes over the picture above the fireplace every year, and every year it loses a leaf. We put real holly up with it. But its not the same if the plastic holly isn't there. :o)

Any one else out there with decorations that appear every year?
