Holidays!

Mimi - 01:03pm Dec 19, 2001 PST

Here is a folder to talk about the winter holidays - such as decorations, presents bought, parties attended, baking, caroling, visiting family, and the occasional dog pulling down your Christmas tree :)

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, and Happy New Year to everyone!

This folder can also be used throughout the year, to discuss other holidays. I am sure that different countries have holidays unique to their country and this is a good place to tell us about them.

I confess...started using wrinkle cream and dyed my hair...now my face is darker and my hair is wrinkled...whassup with that?

Christmas decorations have been out for a long time in the stores...Christmas movies been playing on tv for 2 weeks now...perhaps no tree this year, don't know yet.

Almost time to go buy a turkey. Or at least a turkey breast. Cant get it too early, I don't have enough space in the freezer.

I bought a turkey, had it in the fridge for 6 days, it still had ice in the cavity. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Onward to the Christmas holidays.

I cooked mine yesterday. Yep, mostly thawed but a little bit of ice in the cavity and it was only 12 pounds and had been in the fridge since Wednesday.

I miss the advent calendar...unless I haven't found it yet...

It's at h++p://www.houseoftheorangemonkey.co.uk/advent/advent2014/index.htm (providing you exchange tt for ++).

Sorry I didn't post earlier...

Thanks, ruby.

I just remembered, it's the double t of the hdoubletp it doesn't like, isn't it? And all links have to be checked manually before they're allowed to be live.
