I confess...started using wrinkle cream and dyed my hair...now my face is darker and my hair is wrinkled...whassup with that?

We watch Netflix late at night, mostly Brit Mysteries...Fran got us started on those with the Misdommer Murder DVDs...wish they'd get some newer Dr. Who on there...and some movies I'd like to watch.

The Wolverine (the newest one) is once again, just ok. Plenty of action, but just didn't do it and I do like the x-men movies. Would be nice to have netflix right now since we are off again tomorrow. This vacation has been about 2 weeks too long. Even my kid is bored and ready to go back.

What was going through the minds of all of Chuck Norris' victims before they died? His shoe.

Watched City of Bones, it wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible either.. I enjoyed the eye candy. Also watched the Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Frozen. Walter Mitty was a good one, Frozen was adorable and the songs are ridiculously catchy.

The book thief was really good. I had low expectations thinking it was just a kid movie. Nope, not a kid movie. Well written, well acted. Moving.

Veronica Mars movie.. If you loved the show, you will love the movie. Even though 10 years have passed (in movie time) it picked right up with the people you came to know. It had many funny moments like when Kristen Bell's real life hub tried hitting on her in a bar and she shut him down.

Watched the last Hobbit movie via DVD...enjoyed it, especially the scenery. Now the wait for the third one.

Finally watched the last Star Trek movie release. Funny thing, I could guess what some of the characters were going to say before they spoke, and enjoyed seeing Leonard Nimoy's cameo. If you saw this movie, one particular scene with Spock & Kirk will strongly remind you of an older Star Trek movie.

A birth certificate shows you were born. A death certificate shows you have died. A photo album shows you have lived.

Know exactly what you mean about the Startrek film.

~ Philomena ~

Judi Dench as Philomena Steve Coogan as Martin Sixsmith

My Mum wanted to watch this film and to be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I found myself drawn into the story liking the main characters and ended up wanting everything to turn out "Just right" in the film for the main character.

~ Thor: The Dark World ~

Whats not to like about getting lost in comic book make believe for a couple of hours. It has the most haunting funeral scene. (For me at least.)

~ Gravity ~

Sandra Bullock as Ryan George Clooney as Matt

Full of special effects but still believable. (If that makes sense.) If your a George Clooney fan, then its a must. If you're not a George Clooney fan then still watch it. Great story. Spoiler alert: Hallucination makes you wish it was true.</color> IMHO

You can check out anytime you like...but you can never leave!

Love both Bullock and Clooney. My daughter told me everything about the movie - now I don't need to watch it, haha.
