Fasten that seat belt if you want to take on this exciting thrill ride!! I thoroughly enjoyed this novel by Andrea Kane … what a great summer read!! Right from the first page it grabs you by the heart as Hope tells of her sister and the hulking shadow disappearing into the night but a few pages later Andrea grabs you by the throat! She describes how, as Hope is driving down the highway planning the fun she is going to have with her little girl, Krissy, on one of the rare occasions that she got off work early. As she smiles in anticipation she is unaware that the car speeding towards her is carrying a valuable treasure, something very important to her … but she passes right by it going the opposite way. Hope never thinks to look back … didn’t even turn her head to see the terrified face of the little girl waving frantically out the back window … waving for help from her Mommy!!!

Once Hope gets this heart stopping call she immediately begins implementing a plan of action. As the Police and FBI swarm around her home Hope is already two steps ahead and even though she meets resistance from her husband, she makes the most important call of her life anyway! Kane decides to not just raise the level of this thriller, she blasts the roof off by introducing us to a unique “Dream Team” known as Forensics Instincts!
